Prof. Dr. Jesmine Banu Completed her graduation (MBBS) form Shar-E-Bangla Medical Collage, Barisal on January 1987. She started her Career in BCS health as assistant Surgeon in Upazila health Complex on December 1989. After Serving in different UPZ. health Complexes, She started her academic Carrier as assistant registrar and resident in Sir Solimullah Medical Collage Hospital and I.P.G.M.R Dhaka on 1996 December. After receiving extensive post graduate training she completed masters of surgery degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Bangobondhu Sheikh Mujib medical University, Dhaka on January 2003. She obtained advanced Gynecology Laparoscopic training in Sunrise Hospital, kerala, India.
She also obtained advanced Infetility management training in Internation Institute for Training and Research in Reproductive Health, Bangalore, India. After Completion of post graduation, Dr. Jesmine Banu Worked as Resident Surgeon (R.S) in infertility Unit of Dept of Gyne and obstetrics, BSMMU, Dhaka. She got promotion as assistant professor (Infertility) in BSMMU, Dhaka’ On 2005 January and on January 2010 She promoted as associate professor (Infertility) in BSMMU, Dhaka on may 2016 She got promotion as professor of Infertility in BSMMU, Dhaka and started serving for the infertile couple as separate Unit Head.
She is a devoted teacher and involved with teaching of post graduate students with 15 years of teaching experience, Under her direct guidance F.C.P.S and MS degree in Infertilityand Reproductive Medicine are visible now in Bangladesh.
Prot. Dr. Jesmine Banu is serving as member of Infertility Society of bangladesh. she has more than 25 publication in different journals. She is a life member of Fertility and Sterility Society of bangladesh and also life member of OGSB and Laparoscopic Surgery Society of Bangladesh.
